Non-gameplay changes you'd make to the LoL of Legends.

Lets talk about client and non-gameplay elements you love to see changed, updated, re-worked or removed from League of Legends. I'll get the ball rolling with some of my suggestions.

Appear offline - Pretty straightforward addition. I mean, it's only been a thing in every other online medium since the beginning of time. Surely if I wish to hide from my friends I have a right to do so, don't I? I won't ever use it because I like my friends, but it just seems counter intuitive to exclude such a basic function.

The "Watch Now" box - Can we get rid of this thing? Or at least add an option to hide it or stop it from animating? I don't remember ever using it and it's just a nuance. You see I have two monitors and that box(on the OCE client at least) sits right where invites and friend requests pop up. If I have the client open on my secondary monitor it cycles through the matches I catch it moving out of the corner of my eye and my brain's all "yo dude you got a game invite. Accept that shit." (I mean that's just me and this one is kinda nitpickey but whatever. It's annoying, mostly unused and distracting. {Additionally, It'll give Riot more space to show me skins that are on sale, so it's win win})

Client volume - Yeah, every time a patch goes out, no matter how big or small, it resets the volume of the lol client in the windows volume mixer (I'm unsure if this is for everyone or just me). Basically, you have to turn it down manually every patch or have fun getting your eardrums violently erupted by the queue pop sound effect. Add a volume slider in the client so I can keep it set nice and low. Because if it sends me deaf, how am I going to appricate all the voice filters you enjoy adding to skins for no reason :^)

Remember password and skip login screen - I understand that this is almost certainly never going to happen because "muh security concerns" but it sure would be nice to not have to type in my password each time I log in. In a perfect world I would be able to hit launch from the patcher and skip the login screen and go straight to the client. Hell it would probably improve security because all of the people who have 1 button keyboard macros for their password(including myself) wouldn't have to worry about accidentally hitting it in champ select, revealing their password to all. But again, I realllllllllly doubt this'll ever happen.

Remove "Lock in" in blindpick normals - Let's be real guys, when was the last time all 10 people locked in anyway? All this button does is incentivise instalocking trolls and encourages people to not communicate, or to communicate negatively, with their team because... Diana "I GOT MID FIRST" Ahri "NO I DID" Orianna "NO IT WAS ME!!!11!!"

Spells --> Achievements - Okay gonna try and kill both Anivia and Azir with one Malphite here. Okay so post lvl 30 the spells tab is pretty useless, right? You know you got all the summoner spells unlocked and you should have a good grasp on what they do by this point. You shouldn't need it any more. It's probably wasted space. Lets say at lvl 30 that tab gets replaced by the achievements tab (You guys DO remember the achievements tab right? It didn't do anything but it was there.) Yeah bring that shit back with actual achievements this time and **BAM! ** Another reason to play and fun for the whole family. Malphite DOUBLE KILL!

Remove the blue "Free to play" exclamation mark if the champ is owned/unlocked - Again, really straight forward. I don't care if thresh is free to play. I've owned him since day 1. Why do I need to know if he (or anyone else I own) is free to play? I own almost all of the champions, meaning almost every free week cycle I have about 9-10 pointless blue exclamation marks on my screen ant any given time. If I cared about which of the free week champs I owned I'd look it up.

Hide ranked stats - See because I almost exclusively play with friends (and because I have more than one friend) I have about 2000 normal games and about 200 ranked games since I started playing in Aug 2012. As you can imagine, I never place too highly on the elo ladder (silver 3 or 4 I don't remember). I don't play this game to be the very best like no one ever was, I play it to have fun with friends. It sure would be nice if I could just collect my free ward skin and sit quietly in the corner for the rest of the year. And I'd prefer it if people were calling me shit because i'm shit, not because I'm below diamond. I don't need every Zed and his god damn shadow reminding me I wasn't fucking challenger last year. Make everyone's rank invisible to everyone but themselves and toxicity will go down immensely. Garenteed.

Welp those are my thoughts on the subject. What do you all think? Got something you want changed? Think my opinions are rubbish? Did you actually read all of that? No? I don't blame you. I wouldn't have. Anyway, I'm done. Now it's your turn.

View Death Recap Button - some times we're too busy watching as out team tries to kill the people that killed us to look at the death recap in time. You respawn and have no way to see it. It should have a button (possibly over the minimap) to bring it up again.

Functional Death Recaps - these things are bugged to high heaven. I'm 99% sure it wasn't the Purple Caster Minion that used Emperor's Divide on me...

Owned Skin List - some way to see at a glance what skins someone owns, which ones you can't get in the store right now, etc.

Customizable Custom Games - sorry, mix and matching players and bots on a map of your choice does not count. Let players pick the starting level for champions, starting gold, global effects, etc. For added fun, let things be unbalanced between teams or players on a team. Let one player on each team start level 6, or have your all bronze team start level 6 with extra gold against your all diamond team.

Official Replay System - StarCraft 1 was able to automatically save your last game to your hard drive, overwriting it unless you renamed it. There are third party sites that spectate your game, save all the network traffic, then let League of Legends access them as the source to re-spectate. Where is the official system?

Scaling of abilities available in game - I shouldn't have to remember if an ability scales off of 130% AP or 15% AP. Tell me!

Scaling colors used in store - What do the green, orange, yellow, purple, red and blue colors mean again? Am I forgetting some? The store should have sections marked with the same color. For example, in All Items, have Health colored red.

I disagree with one or two of these, and I think achievements would be a REALLY bad idea for a competitive pvp game(remember, that was basically what the 'perfect game icon' was - an attempt at an achievement - and look at all the grief it caused in a FEATURED mode, can you imagine the grief that'd be caused by achievements in normal or god forbid ranked play?), as much as people clamor for them... but ya, a lot of these are pretty goo ideas.

My only addition, personally, would be bringing back 'intent' as a consideration for the leaverbuster system. That'd prettymuch be the only thing that'd get me to play again.
