2 of my teammates were complete ass bags and if any Reds see this post go in and ban the dog shit out of them.
But one person, Draven. was really nice and defended me and actually carried the whole game and I want to buy him a skin (because I'm actually a really nice person regardless of what Riot's manual review's say about me).
Why can't I do this?

Actually, you could do it before. Post-game gifting was a thing where you could send a gift to a player on your team. Riot removed it though because it bypassed the 2 week friend gifting limit. Which by the way, only shows how retarded Riot actually is when making decisions that goes against their will.
The reason that is most likely to be a real reason for Riot is account theft. If you can steal someone's account, friend someone, and gift that person stuff immediately (before the true owner recovers the account), that increases the incentive for stealing accounts.
It's probably somewhere in their ToS. But both you and I are too lazy to go look for the official stance, lol. Maybe someone nice here will post it.
It's too prevent easy Elo Boosting rewards most likely.
