Getting sick of the Dictatorial Meta enforcement

Seriously. Who said it is YOUR job to tell people what they Can and CANT play as thier roles. I thought normals were about expermienting with new metas, trying new things. I am a support main, and Yes I happen tohave good luck playing as A Jhin Support. My adcs get fed, I make sure they get plenty of gold (almost always start with relic shield). And I generally have good games most of the time. Then I get these arrogant self-centered little preschoolers who act like they just received the hall monitor badge and start enforcing the meta harder than north korea. I generally avoid the usual supports because a) they are too predictable, and thus easy to work around. and B) I enjoy the strategy and planning needed to take a non support champ and make it work as support. With my play style and the strategy involved, I do well at leashing down enemies and handing them off to adc for last hit. But I am sick of being reported (correct me if I am wrong but you cant report someone for thier CHAMPION CHOICE), they make up some excuse, intentionally ban jhin (MY OWN TEAM BANS JHIN). Or punish me by, in the case of my last 3 matches, Intentionally ABANDONING BOT LANE. They are mad I wont play what or how they want (Some even said they DONT CARE about the winning streaks i have with a support jhin) and are Tyrant-like in the rigid enforcement of THIER META.

SO I ask again. Who put these spoiled little tantrum kids in charge of dictating what champion people can play, how they can play, when they can play, and under what circumstances. Answer: NO ONE. So do me a favor and STFU about telling me How to play my own role. In a way that has worked for me countless times. all because it doesnt fit in with your precious little book that tells you the only times a champ can be played My Own Champ My Own strategy My own Victories.

DEAL WITH IT.

Are you high or something? You average a 1.62 KDA and have a 19% win rate in ranked on Jhin. You build absurd things on him like BotRK and Athene's and Rageblade.

If this is what you call being successful with a champion then I'd hate to see what you consider failure.

I'm fine with off meta picks but when you're obviously horrible with them and you build horrible items on them I don't blame your team for dodging or banning Jhin away from you. Your match history looks like you're hardcore trolling. Can you really blame them?

You should find 4 other people that share your goals and play 5 man teams.

You can't expect a bunch of strangers to have to deal with your hair brained schemes for at least 20 min

If you are doing it in normals, and assuming you aren't doing dumb things like feeding or trolling your team, I don't see a problem with it.

I've been against teams of all assassins v our standard team comp in a normal game. I was against an Anivia Poppy bot lane that kept murdering my support with the wall/heroic charge combo. I had a normal game where our mid wanted to play Varus and the rest of our team decided to play AD champs. Our mid decided to take Ziggs and then complain all game about how if they had just let him take Varus, maybe we'd be winning, and my entire team just responded with "if you wanted to play Varus, then pick Varus."

For whatever reason, people seem to take this game too seriously. If it were ranked, I can understand wanting to have a more standard team comp, but that doesn't mean you still can't pick whatever or do whatever. I had a game recently where, as Bard, I used my ult to stop their MF from ulting. Apparently our Poppy had decided to turn on MF at that point as well and got caught in it also. I was told to "stop ulting" because of that. People are going to do whatever they want to do, the best thing you can do is just try to ignore them and enjoy your game to the best of your ability.

My whole thing with non meta picks is you better make it work. If I go bot lane and you want to do Jhin support, I won't say anything since I give the benefit of the doubt.

If you do good I will congratulate you, if you fail though then yes I will probably say a few choice words since there is a high chance doing a non meta or troll pick was the reason it happened.

Btw Vel Koz isn't a troll pick. He is no different than Annie or Brand when he was Sup. They aren't actual supports, they are AP carries that just turn bot lane into a kill lane. And if I might add, Vel is pretty damn good too. Sure he may take all the kills but hell, I get all the farm and they are dead, as far as I am concerned, they did their job. If the enemy is dead or away or just out of my face, that is what an ADC wants.

proof that what you do is wrong

you have negative win rates on your 5 most play champs. At the level you play at you are never good, your enemy is just happens to be making bigger mistakes than you.

at some point you have to understand that you do not have a good enough grasp of the game to have people others trust you and that any testing that you are doing is invalid cause of the skill level of the players involved.

I get told not to play top or jungle a lot. I just tell them I will gladly take the support role if they feel so strongly about my choice of champion. I do well no matter where I go but the moment things turn out poorly for my team it's my head on the chopping block. And compliments for me are given reluctantly. Generally I get complimented more by players on the opposing team than my own when I go top or jungle. Which says something when I am a support main.

It's ok to go off meta but I still like to ask my team before hand. I do this as a general rule and to be nice. They're more open to it if they see it in lobby and have time to plan accordingly. There are some champions who are less ideal for having Taric on their team.

Enforcing the meta harder than North Korea?
