Why does EU watch worlds in the afternoon while NA get's 5:00-7:00 a.m

most of us are gamers that sleep late at night and wake up after afternoon, jesus fkn christ i dont want to watch vods because i miss twitch chat experience :/

Worlds is in Europe, so Worlds takes place at times that are appropriate for the people and venues in Europe. Same approach as when Worlds was previously hosted in Korea and North America.

Just one question though: why are the games getting consistently earlier? When the group stages started, the games started at 9AM central time. That weekend, they started at around 8, and this week, they stat as early as 4AM central time on Sunday. Is this to make sure there is enough time for tiebreaker games, or what exactly?

Not 100% certain sorry, I'm not involved myself in any of the Esports organizational work. I'd imagine it is to leave sufficient time for tiebreakers at least in part though, unlikely though it be when there's the possibility you need to fit a few extra games into the day you need to account for that.

Plenty of tournaments in the past have had sucky schedules for Europeans as well. It's the unfortunate truth of different time zones; there's no way for Riot to make everyone happy.
