Can Riot add a way to change club tags after its creation/Is there one in place?

I want to change the tag on my group to be something more fitting for one of it's founding members. I want to do this because he died on Valentines day and I did not learn of it until two days ago. But there is no way that I can find to change tags, this person has been my friend since shortly after I started playing the game back in 2012, so I want to honor his memory by using a more appropriate tag at the very least. Seems like a minor thing I know, but the group has been unanimous in that we want to find a way to make this happen, the only thing we could figure was to just make a new club, but the problem with that is that we refuse to do that because for obvious reasons he wouldn't be able to join it. So I don't know if Riot is listening to this, but is there a way to reset your clan tag? Can you make that a feature? At this point I don't care if it costs RP or not we just want to do something in memory of a friend, and since he lived far away from us, we can't really think of anything else to do.
