A more fitting punishment?

Not gonna name and shame, Riot can check my match history and identify the offending player that way, ok now that's cleared up I just wanted to make a suggestion that I think would be A) funnier, and B) more appropriate, but first a story.

So I finished a ranked game a few minutes ago, things were fine in champ select, everyone was getting along alright, game starts as normal. I ended up feeding first blood (Picking lux and then having to deal with zed mid/zac jungle, 3/10 would not recommend :P) but it was fine, everything was cool no problems yet. No my performance, though nothing stellar is not the point of this or even the catalyst. you see our teams ADC started throwing a fit about how her lane was going (Getting roflstomped by blitz/Lucian) around the time they end up going 0-6 put together this fun little message scrolls across my screen "Fuck this i'm plat 5 0 LP I'm fucking done" ____ has disconnected (name not shown to protect the.... guilty?)

Obviously we lost that one and she had some other choice words before she left that I THINK were directed towards her support but since she did not name any names I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it wasn't directed towards anyone in particular. Obviously everyone reported her but an idea struck my head that I put in the report itself but I think it's funny so I'm gonna put it up for the world to see too.

I don't want this player banned, even if it was banworthy I don't see that really giving much satisfaction. No my idea is different so I'm kinda hoping a red sees this and gives their two cents on it. She was so concerned about her rank of platinum being lost and getting kicked back into gold I that my suggestion for punishment is different. Instead of giving a simple time ban or chat restriction, can Riot remove her Plat border and replace it with a gold one? I think it would be more fitting and honestly 1000% more satisfying and hilarious, it also might speak more to the player about how NOT to go about business in your games because now the most visible reward was taken away from her since hey, she no longer qualifies anyways and obviously had no interest in fighting to defend it anyways, besides it's the preseason so it technically isn't season 6 yet so those rewards aren't locked in yet (or shouldn't be anyways, even if they did appear), people might take it more seriously if they stand to lose something on that scale if they act like complete pricks.

So what do you guys think? Funnier and more fitting? or going to far?

EDIT: Just to be completely clear, this was not a rage post done in malice, just an amusing idea that crossed my mind that I thought I'd share.
