Can we Report for GG?

2 Leavers and a 0/4 Trynd on my team. Saying GG at that point isn't being a good sport.

Saying "GG" is a common practice of good sportsmanship; you don't toss that out of the window no matter what the situation is. Even if the enemy only had 1 player trying, you should still recognize the attempt.

Don't just assume it's BM. Assuming the worst makes it so.

I mean, you can? But I don't think it'll lead to much. Off-hand, that seems more of a nod to the situation than an attempt to be rude.

Just because you read into a rather bland and normal statement like GG doesn't mean it was actually meant as BM.

You can report for anything. Its an automated system, if any one player gets reported enough they will be banned regardless of whether they've done or said anything bannable.

That isn't true. The system is automated, but they worked their asses off to make it an intelligent system that is very good at discerning false reports. The vast majority of people that claim they were wrongfully punished, simply thought their toxicity was acceptable and don't want to change.

I'd like to disagree...their system is flawed...

alright so, long story short. My main account was banned for toxicity and THAT i did deserve. After my 14 day suspension was put into effect i created a smurf account and vowed to be as positive as I could possibly be because I didn't want to be banned ever again...that shit sucked...

well, at around lvl 6, my smurf account had recieved a 12 game chat restriction where i could only type 5 times a game (with added times every 5 min)..I figured that I had jokingly said something that had made someone really upset or offended....so I stoped the joking around and dancing and stuff.

my 12 game chat restriction had been removed and I had played 2 games with my boyfriend. Both games we were duo bot lane and I barely used my chat box because we were literally sitting next to each other...I went home that day (logged off for about 2 horus) logged back on to have ANOTHER 12 game chat restriction to trudge through...

to kind of give me some credibility here....my main account is about 2 years old and that was my first ban. (first suspension...first anything....I mayve gotten a written warning FOREVER AGO long before i waas reported but..) ..yeah...im not a toxic person (especially not anymore) and I'm still beign reported by trolls who enter into games simply to ruin other's games....it happens....tis league...

again..you just have to warn, ignore, and report.

also. NEVER tell someone youre going to reprot them....at least wait until they leave the lobby to ask others to report them (unless they are afk or being a beligerant troll....then you can just openly ONCE say over all chat 'can you please report so and so for afk, intentionally feeding {lvl 1 turret diving, lvl 2 solo drag ect}')

but if a toxic person is ganging up on you. just wait until the end game to report them and wait till they leave to ask for support...

because otherwise you'll probably get ganged up on.

although i rarely ask others to report someone who's been personally harassing me because then that other person has an open mind to report me as well for 'fueling' the situation.

Honestly, there's no need to call for reports at all. The system builds cases based on the number of reported games, so for any particular game, 1 report is as good as 9.

Because of that - at least in part - calling for reports is considered toxic, and is itself reportable (though I don't personally know too many people that do so for a single report call).

I'll only call for reports if I feel as though that other person seriously deserved to be reported to high hell.

to the point of suspension. Some people get nasty and deserve to be banned.

I got nasty and was banned and it taught me a lesson, and I feel as thoguh some peole seserve to be taught that lesson as well.

Not everyone thoguh...not most people honestly...just those who are afk, or beligerant...even if riot will look into a case based on 1 report, the more times that person is reported, the more likely they will be to be punished.

I seriously rarely ever call for reports....im pretty sure I havent done it in the past 50 games and if I have maybe once. lol. I'm just saying in general. saying gg isnt a reportable offence...how is gg offensive...? its not...

we've all had games where we just wanna say gg and give up....

Nope, not quite. I just got a 2 week ban a couple days ago for calling my botlane bad. Yeah just "bad". That was the worst thing I said. Now despite me not being chat restricted or rank restricted, I instantly get a two week ban after that game. Its 100% automated. It'll say the tribunal has reviewed my case. Really, they reviewed it in those 5 seconds it took my botlane to report me?

if he was constantly saying gg to the point of spam then report him for spam but thats it... I doubt he was trying to be rude...he probably was just sick of dying and was ready for the game to end.

you CAN report for anything but you shouldnt...i like to try to use my honor button more then my report button but... you ust have to observe and judge those who deserve to be reporte brom those who dont. I try to be like a community cop...(but a good cop, not a piece of shit cop). in my games im as positive as i can be and if any negativity comes along in game I'll ask that player to chill out (nicely) and to just have fun.....if he continues his abuse ill just ignore and report him in the end game lobby..

on a side note, ill continuously be positive throughout the game and will talk up anyone being talked down...this earns me easy honors and friends as well. plus...it makes the game more fun. treat others how you would wish to be treated. Please and thanks. lol.
