why I want a "no teamwork" ban from ever having to play with another summoner

This is a team game. It is NOT just ranked teams, but all modes all players all levels. In games where someone is just a pain, I would like to have the ability to say, I don't ever want to be on a team with them or even against them. I would like to ban them from my game que.

When someone decides it is their personal playground, and they become instead of a team player, they become the fun killer for everyone else, they need to be relegated to those that are just like them. I would like to never play with some players that don't care that it is a game for multiple people. Not just about them. Make it an option Riot. Doesn't matter what the reason, we should be able to choose with whom we don't want to play as much as we choose with whom we do want to play ... the opposite of a "party" is an option, not to report, but to say "Don't pair me with this person."

The system you refer to is easily abusable. With problems starting at "holy crap that riven is 20-0, rito, plz dont put me against this riven carry ever again" and ending in "im going to refuse every low elo player in my league to force myself into higher elo matches so i can abuse the MMR system."

Also, this behavior you speak of tends to taper off as you raise in ranks. Im assuming your b5, because thats where the majority of trolls go, because of the wide area of mmr ratings b5 encompasses. When you see someone in s1, or g1, theyre not there because they dont try. Thats for sure.

You are talking about ranked. Who gives a rip? I certainly don't. I don't play ranked, and probably never will. If that is what you're worried about, they turn it off for ranked. I said this is not just about ranked. Allow it for any other mode; I'd be happy. Ranked play is the most toxic play ... there are so many toxic players, I don't even want to try that again. In the few ranked games I've played, it was so bad I don't care if you deleted ranked play from the game completely. And if there really is a possibility of eliminating low elo players, then either there is already a problem. (Why could someone possibly eliminate the pool of similarly ranked players unless there are so few that blacklisting even 1000 could make a difference?)

I have NO desire to even learn if "this behavior you speak of tends to taper off as you raise in ranks" ... you presume too much. I'm here to have fun, not play in ranked games. When people stop it from being fun, they rob me of +/- 30 minutes of my life. If your MMR system is so easily abused, then you need to change it. If a person blacklists too many people, then that person probably will just have to wait nearly forever to get into a game if you just make it so they still have (in your ranked queues that you are so all fire concerned about) that they have to be matched, even if it takes days, with people of like ability.

While I agree that the people here seem to be ignoring your "not about ranked" you could tone down a little. "Who gives a rip?" isn't going to win friends.

Does anyone read "It is NOT just ranked teams..." When people come back with comments about how it affects ranked after the person says they are talking more about other modes, why would you bring up ranked?_ Are you purposely ignoring what was said?_

The issue with this kind of system is people will start using to to stop playing with people they see as "bad" Even in normal queue. If someone is not toxic but enough people put them on their "do not play" list they will have to suffer just because you wanted to never play with them again. Don't forget that if someone puts you on their list for just having a bad game all of a sudden you have a worse queue just because someone is petty. Seems fair that you did nothing wrong but have a worse queue.

On top of that the queue time will not just increase for the people using the system but for everyone, even if they personally do not use the system. Personally I just mute people I don't enjoy playing with and focus on my own game play and I don't need a system to increase queue time when I already have to wait through a queue and pick/ban phase. Again why should I suffer just because X doesn't want to play with Y but Z and X don't get along but don't forget A and X hate each other too!

People suggest this kind of system all the time but it just won't work. Even if you limit the list to only 10 people they will have to focus a lot of manpower in to making new algorithms for matchmaking, time their coders could spend improving the game just because someone doesn't want to play with so and so. Plus the chances of someone ever getting matched with people they don't enjoy again is so small. The system is just not worth it.

One of the things I see regularly are people that go out of "ranked, where it counts" and go into other modes with the attitude "It's only bots" or "It's only aram" using that as an excuse for bad behavior. I doubt seriously if there are that many people out there that are being jerks to impact play for the rest of us. I don't play ranked (or normals for that matter). I play aram and bots. People that come into those modes from having been in "where it does matter" (wherever that might be for them) and acting like jerks. I particularly think that people that are like that I just don't want them on my teams. Solo queue or not, I'd rather not have jerks on my team, and if enough people did the same ... and I think the number of people like that is small compared to the community at large (maybe 5% at most) then those 5% would be playing only with each other. Unless of course they feel the same way about people that do that to them. I'd rather have the queue take 2 minutes and never have a jerk again than have the queue 50 seconds and have to play with people that are just plain jerks.

For example, a Tryn came into a bot game, the Kennen had called mid and the Tryn went mid as well ... even after people tried to get him to stop. He didn't care about what others thought, nor if he followed what is "normal protocol" for laning. I was in bot lane by myself (he chose after everyone else had) and when he did come into the lane, it was just long enough to spin into a near dead champ to steal the kill and then he left. He clearly was not there to play on a team, he was being a jerk. I would like to never have to deal with him on my team again. Sociopaths not welcome.

its solo que, its why every jungler takes blue and splitpushing is good because you cant trust timmy the average derp in your games so you gotta do it yourself. quit blamin shit im diamond and i dont do that shit in solo que get good dont make excuses.

You're diamond, and you sound like every other jerk who plays ranked. "quit blamin shit" ... " i dont do that shit ..." perfect example of why I don't ever want to play ranked. It has people like you that are toxic, use foul language that is offensive. Stay in your ranked games and stay out of the lives of people that are not so inclined. Or better yet, clean up your life (and mouth) learn courtesy, play not for just yourself, but for the enjoyment of everyone with whom you play. I'll even make a deal with you, I'll stay out of your precious ranked games; you stay out of the rest unless you are willing to make sure everyone enjoys themselves ... even a noob that has never played before (you might even want to drop the attitude, and help lesser players do better).

I dont mind that you disagree with us. Thats fine. However, youre being beligerant and negative towards OUR opinions, in favor of your own. Just because you see differently than us doesnt mean you should jump down our throats when we state our view. You posted this on the forums. Forums are for discussion. If you didnt want input, you came to the wrong place.

What I was commenting upon was the use of foul language, condescending tone ("you can't trust timmy the average derp") and the obvious lack of actually reading what I posted. From my original post:

So when people base objections on ranked play, yes, I tend to feel very much like they are ignoring what I said, and posting what they want to say without actually reading the context. I'm perfectly willing to listen to any comment that isn't about ranked play. While I may have responded more in kind to the person that posted (I probably should not have, even when he seemed to be saying "I'm better than all you scum, so your opinion doesn't matter.") That I would not call discussion, but an attempt to cut off discussion.

Your original post, while much more even in tone, still starts out talking about ranked play. My 1st statement was that it isn't about ranked. Can you understand that it is very frustrating to hear "this won't work for ranked" right after saying the issue is about all modes, not ranked?

Okay, so you don't want to have a "not with me ban" how about in every mode, a "does not play for team enjoyment" and and has to be by their own team. Have it so that being reported as such means they are banned from that mode for 1 day from the next time they try to play that mode to start, and then doubled every other time they are so reported. All your wonderful "ranked" players if they start doing the kind of "I'm the only one that matters, and this is just ____." (aram, bots, normals, dominion ... whatever) will get in line, or won't be playing in that mode very often. It won't hurt your precious ranked games. I don't care that "once you get to higher ranks, this kind of behavior will go away." That is a snobbish attitude ... it is exactly where the "this is only ____" comes from, and presumes that people even care to play ranked. Ranked doesn't matter to a lot of players. play aram. You won't see very many rank boarder indicators. Sure, sometimes you see a couple. But not often. Play bots, you will see very few. Mostly people getting 1st win before they do other things ... and these also are ones that don't care that other people don't care about rank, and often ruin it for others that do care. "This is only bots, it doesn't matter." I want people banned from those modes if that is there attitude. They don't care. Obviously ... "it is only ____" so if it is only whatever, don't go there.
