Kindred: Day 1 - What're your first impressions of playing with, as, and against Kindred so far?

Did you like playing as Kindred? With a Kindred? Against it? Do you feel you need to use a ban against them (other than to deny a teammate from using it first time in your game)?

Post your thoughts.

I have lost and won with her on my team and I think she works very well actually. The main problem I noticed is that because you now have 2 adc on your team with her you need a tanky top and support to peel constantly.

Playing as her i quite enjoy her and her hopping mechanics, I find she works best with allies that like and are capable of long drawn out fights like Volibear Leona Blitzcrank Garen Thresh Braum Also of note is she synergizes very well with good Anivia players and can kite around while her egg forms reviving.

Playing with her, ive only played with/against one kindred each and they both went the devourer route and had hot steamy loads dumped on them, shes an ad caster like urgot and trying to build her like vayne or cait will get you instantly deleted as these guys found out the hard way.

My recommended build setup, black cleaver is pretty core for the CD, movespeed, HP, and armor shred effects, besides that you should emphasize hp resist survival builds with exception to blade of the king and you should avoid devourers like the plague and instead focus on getting warriors or cinderhulk jung items since ad casters scale well with both armor pen and survivability.

So in short build her like you would urgot but substitute manamune out with blade of the king.

No i don't feel the need to ban it and the 4 times i picked her i was only questioned about it once and they accepted my reasoning for picking her into our team comp, told them she has the same hunting playstyle as eve and even her ult is usually used in the same way as counter engage/ a tool to turn the tables on a fight to win it.

I don't have enough IP or RP for Kindred, so I haven't played them yet, but I'd like to eventually.

Playing with a Kindred was interesting, since I helped her counterjungle (to get marks), and their kit makes things more fun, since you can dive and still live, you can slow them to death, all that. Her VO is kind of creepy, but I like her voice.

Playing against Kindred is also fun, since I have to protect my jungler's jungle from her, and it gives me a few picks early game if it marks a scuttle or something and I see them go for it.

I don't think they need a ban, they're not broken or weak, but they do seem to have an Azir-esque skill curve.

Overall though, a neat champ that I'd like to play one day (assuming her VO doesn't set off my anxiety). xD

I enjoy her, but I don't like the way Riot has forced her into being a Jungler. Like, you can still get stacks from kills and you can still potentially roam and get Jungle camps as an AD Carry or Top Lane Kindred but it deliberately only marks camps on the opposite side of the map.

It doesn't mark Dragon. It doesn't mark Baron. It doesn't update if the camp has already been taken.

She can carry well if you build right, if I get to jungle the game is over within 20mintues because I became a monster. She is gold reliant in my opionion to be able to get the items she needs. Her early game is her weakest point, so I recommend that people counter jungle her and she will became useless for awhile. She hits a power spike in mid game if built right and in the end game she is strong but not vayne strong.Kindred I think she might be played at mid more than jg because she can stack her passive well there and get ahead level and gold wise.
