So chat- seems to be where everything goes down. Reasons why most people get reported/suspended/chat restricted.

That is the problem Riot should be focusing on not player behavior because you can't change human nature as easily as you can add options to a chat.

From what I have seen and yet to this day have yet to get an answer.. You can report people for being toxic even though you free willing chose not to mute the person or keep chat filter enabled. Why is this? If you don't like something on tv you change the channel, you don't contact the company and throw a fit about it right? Yet in this game you are doing just that..

So if you have the option to mute the person and have a chat filter why give them power to report? Seems like rewarding laziness for stupidity eh?

Another question I have is why isn't there more options for chat if that seems to be the problem? Sure you can mute that person but what if they are following you around pinging and trolling you attempting to bait you into saying something so they can report you?

There "NEEDS" to be an option to disable chat. By option I mean to just be able to take the chat off screen and not be able to type.. There are many people who want this option because let's face it you can only push someone so far before they had enough and have to relieve stress and even if you move the chat off screen you can still type.

So Imo if chat is where most of the problems is then start focusing new options in chat to target toxicity or keep it from happening.. It makes way more sense to do that then to punish people over human name to react. You don't know if that person had a bad day... you don't know what is psychologically wrong with them.. so if they can't help but be toxic then give the option to disable chat before the game starts or during the game. I don't know why this hasn't been done yet and why it keeps getting ignored.

There also needs to be an option that you when you mute someone they are muted in the game chat after the game is over.. I have no freaking clue why you can mute someone in game and then have to read every single thing they say after game.

Why on earth should I have to Mute a Toxic person ? Why Should I have to do this? I really hate this excuse to be a jerk !!

Personally it isn't worth my time to use the button as I can control myself and not hit that ENTER key...but, just because it is there for use doesn't make it okay to be rude. Honestly where do people get that idea ?

EDIT: I don't mute for other reasons such as if a person is being a Jerk to someone I want to see what is being said...I know for sure if someone is being nasty to x-person for no reason, I'm going to be nice to x-person for no reason. Besides, even toxic people can have good advice,ideals etc. during game..Why would someone put themselves in a position to be muted. I truly don't understand why they do it !!!

You clearly have no understanding of how Human nature works do you.

Let me ask you this...

Who is the toxic person

Person (A) Trolling, feeding, refusing to help, afking

or

Person(B) Calling that person out because he is having 45 minutes of his time wasted in a game because person (A) thinks it's funny as hell to ruin 4 other people's game and make them mad?

If you say person (A) you are correct, if you say person (B) you are an idiot.

1st off don't bother trying to insult me or try to sway my opinion by calling me a name and telling me what I should answer your 'set up' question with.

If a person intentionally: Trolls, Feds or afks...then they are wrong. Report and move on..Don't waste time arguing with them. That wastes my time and fun in the game along with the others playing with you.

2nd off I have a great knowledge of how Human nature works..It is a huge part of my Job. Why didn't you address what my post was about instead of trying to turn this into a pissing match ??

So what do you suggest as new options to do what you'd like to see done. You know what my opinion is...but I'll try and be fair and ask you what new options would you like to see added? Besides the after game chat stuff..I do see your point there about seeing someones comments that u muted..but, by your way of thinking you can just leave post game chat and not read what they typed, it's the Same Thing as Muting.

EDIT: BTW the polite thing to do when you edit your post is to do it somewhat like this...As I quoted you is how you had it up 1st...No big thing, but I think when you edit you should say you did. We are most definitely different type people, that might not be a bad thing because if you could actually help the problem with mean people and how to handle them that would be great. ;)
