Ok so might as well add my two cents here. Jhin or if you like the theory on YouTube djinn, hasn't actually killed anyone, he granted their wishes with his powers, see wanted to be the ultimate assassin so jhin took his sense of self as a price, garen wanted a worthy opponent so jhin took his compassion (heart), sonas parents wanted her to be a virtuoso with the ethwal so jhin took son as voice, and go wanted to stop being a criminal so jhin took her security by making her hands useless without her gauntlets. This is jmo but I also view jhin as marksman/support or marksman/assassin Just my thoughts though

Zed's already the best assassin known to the Kinkou so don't see why he would want to be shot to become maybe a bit better. Garen tries to uphold Demacian beliefs and ideals. That includes having a heart and not straight up subjugating people. Him losing one of the traits of Demacia is completely counter to his character. Sona was adopted. Nobody knows who her actual parents are. She has been mute since birth. Vi isn't a criminal anymore and enjoys punching people who are. Losing her only way to catch criminals in return for not having anyway to use her hands is entirely counter to her character.

what I'm implying is that before they became the way they are now, they all wanted something, zed to be stronger to defeat shen, garen to find a worthy opponent based on his damacian beliefs, vi to escape the criminal life, and while sona did not wish it upon herself her parents, whoever they are could have easily wanted their daughter to become an unrivaled virtuoso which would explain the ethwal mysteriously always returning to sona regardless of where she is. is short if you want something badly enough you will pay almost anything to attain it, which with my theory is where jhin comes into play, he grants their request however his prices are very high. zed lost himself to the shadows garen found his opponent but must decide between love and duty Vi lost the ability of her human hands which explains why she cannot remove the gauntlets and sona lost her voice to have unparalleled instrumental talent you must read deeper than just the surface my friend to truly find the content of ones writing [zombie-brand-clap]
