Maybe the enemy Riven is just more comfortable with that champion. Ignite isnt gonna help much if you're getting outplayed and they enemy snowballs like that.

how does a mirror match prove anything? I 1v1 a friend who mains riven and I kicked his ass, and I dont even play riven!

yeah...the other guy being really good and the ignite riven being bad does not call for nerfs.

That being said..riven is too strong.

Maybe your Riven just sucked. Maybe their Riven made good use of their teleport and used it to create pressure around the map (I.E., go bot lane and get a double kill, go mid lane and help take the tower, go to drag and win the teamfight, etc.) Maybe it's because their Riven could afford to build pure damage, as they already had a 2 tanks: Tahm and Shen, while your Riven had to go for more defensive items, as the only initiator on your team was yourself.

Maybe it's all 3 of those things put together, and as their Riven snowballed and got more and more damage (as she is made to be able to snowball incredibly hard), your Riven got further and further behind
