I'm going to edit the original post. People seem to think that I believe Gavid will still be the king of plants. No. His model and theme of being a plant/tree-like CREATURE will be true. As far as his ability and gameplay goes, no. Obviously something plant like would be way too similar to how Zyra is played as I said in the video. I said he would be reworked into the Protector of the jungle, or something along those lines. We know Ao Shin was a storm dragon, how did he end up being a star dragon? Two completely different concepts, yet they were both dragons. I'm saying the samething applies here. From Plant King to Animal Jungle Protector. I'm saying aspects of Gavid will be visible in the new champion.

but as everyone is quickly debunking, it's some chinese MOBA that posted that same splash art in June. It might be Tencent-related like LoL is, so there is a possibility of some correlation but it's highly unlikely at this point
Listening to the voice over, you can clearly hear a lot of twigs/branches moving as the narrator speaks, probably indicating that this is probably a creature forged of natural plants, similar to maokai. Maybe a treeant, or maybe....
