Is Elise mid a thing?

Anything can be a thing if you are skilled enough. But ya it used to be, and sometimes I see her played top, but I haven't seen her mid in awhile. The only problem with her mid would be annoying matchups. This is most likely why it isn't done more often.

I see elise Jung>top>mid but it seems pretty fun.
