Matchmaking Question

Note: I'm not trying to 'whine' here. I just want to know. I am trying to do my Silver => Gold promos. I keep getting on teams where I'm the only silver. Everyone is gold, and their entire team is pretty much Gold 2 and 1 where my team is me (Silver 1) and I'm at least 150 MMR behind everyone on their team. Last game was about 1583 average MMR for us and 1652 average MMR for them. I'm not entirely sure just 'how much skill' difference is represented in an additional 150 MMR.

My team: 1515 (me) 1606 1592 1607 1593

Their team: 1642 1709 1625 1642 1642

EDIT: I forgot to include my freakin question. Damn! Is this normal match making? Can I expect way more of this trying to get into gold. At least one of the opponents was in HIS promos to get into Platinum. I mean I would love to have someone trying to go from Bronze 1 into Silver V in all of my promos to get into Gold.

I dont know about MMR, but your lucky you only go against golds, i go against plats and diamonds half the time or i will get 2 diamonds on my team and have to go against 3 of them on the other team meanwhile this account is just silver 2, i guess it knows my other account is plat 1 xD
