Can you get a message 'You have already received a chest on this champion this season'?

Title, or in the Collection > Champions when it tells you 'Chest acquired' on mouse over. Could it give you a date? Sometimes I feel suspicious that Riot has a bug where it counts a game as getting my chest, but not giving it. So one of those two things would help.
