PSA: Keep your opinion to yourself.
So, I just played a game in which we got stomped pretty darn hard. I also had an interesting conversation with one of the guys on my team at the end. Which led me to post this little PSA... Keep your opinion to yourself.
- ***I don't KNOW you. ***: If I encounter you in a blind game, it's safe to say I don't know you. Which means I don't have a gauge on you as a player, or understand where you are at mechanically. So at what point do you think I will respect your critiques?
2)*** If you didn't see it, shut it.***: If I make a play or die, and you didn't see the circumstances leading up to it, nor the play itself... Then don't critique it. You are operating under an assumption.
-
If you're critiquing someone's game to make yourself feel better, don't.: If you're pointing out what I'm doing wrong, to make yourself feel better about your individual skill after a loss, don't.
-
Stop condescending.: Whether you are intending it or not, the majority of times your critique will be perceived as condescending. Text does a horrible job at communicating intention and motives.

***Your score does not give credibility to your opinion. ***: Congratulations. You are the only one who is positive on a team that's struggling. That doesn't give you the right to throw your opinion around like it has weight.
Don't misunderstand this post. I'm definitely in favor of positive criticism. However, it's rare where it's beneficial to do it with people you don't know. So approach it carefully, and with consideration. Be more concerned with the mistakes that YOU make, and less concerned with the ones of those around you. It'll make everyone's experience a bit more pleasant.
