I'm a little bit confused

So I've been playing a lot of ranked since the seasonal reset and well I'm just confused about how the lp is being given out at the end of a game. I have over a 50% win rate it's 56.7% to be exact and just looking at that shouldn't I be gaining more then I'm losing? I have been mostly but I got into promos to go to gold 3 and lost two games right away and went to 66lp which seems fair enough to me but what confused me is when I won my next game I only got 11 lp when before that I was consistently getting 23+ a game so can anyone explain why the sudden drop for that match as it seemed the other teams mmr should have been higher then mine based off their ranks and ours.
