Tribunal Message

I just played a ranked game and in the loading screen where the "Tips" sometimes show up it said something to the effect that "The tribunal is a place where players vote on punishing negative behavior. Visit the tribunal today and vote to make your voice heard!"

BUT, they took away the Tribunal 2 years ago. They said it was coming back (I personally doubt they ever intended to bring it back), but it hasn't been up for 2 years and I thought RIOT had confirmed it was never coming back. So why are we still getting messages (I've seen at least one more about "The tribunal has corrected the behavior of X number of players in the last year") about how great it is and how we should participate?

I guess for me the question is twofold:

If it was really so great, why get rid of it?
If it's gone for good and it wasn't so great after all, why are you still pointing to a legacy system you removed as being the source of punishments?

Also, I just want to say RIOT plz.... I am so sick and tired of any comment that reflects negatively on RIOT getting INSTANTLY deleted as "off topic." Is BS, we all know its BS, it's transparent as glass, yet you do it and dont even have a system in place for people to respond to the "Hey we saw you posted something that reflects badly on us. GO !@#$ YOURSELF DELETED!" message they send you.

How can you delete a comment as "off topic" with 60 seconds of posting, but take 2-3 weeks to ban a toxic player? Fire your boards monitors and hire some game monitors.

the tribunal was a useless system no matter how much riot lyte boasts about it

most of the time people just hit yes because some people just want to watch the world burn.
