Dynamic Que Puts You in 2nd Role Too Much

So, just throwing this out there. Not the first to post about it, won't be the last. I know RIOT doesn't care, but maybe if enough people speak up they'll finally wake up.

Dynamic Que slots you into you're second role way too often. It's widely known this is a huge issue with supports. I completely stopped putting support as #2 because I got support 90% of the time. It works the same with most roles though.

I have a 73% win rate with my main role (Jungle), but I only get to play my main role 35% of the time. That is less than I got to play my main role in the old ranked system. I've tried putting Support, Top, and Mid as my second roles.

When I que up and que pops the instant I press go and I get my 2nd choice for the 5th time out of the last 6 I start to get pretty pissed off.

I think the system should only look to put you into your 1st choice for at least 10 seconds, probably more like 20. If I que up 6 times and I get my main role once it makes the game far less fun and far more difficult to climb the ladder.

I was super excited for dynamic que, but frankly, it sucks. Right now I'd rather go back to the old system. Back then I easily got to play my main role in over 1/2 my games, more like 60-70%. Now it's less than 40% and I can't even politely ask to have my main role since my team is already slotted in.

This should be an easy fix. It is frustrating that RIOT won't even address the issue.

Just for fun i tested something with my friend, i put his primary as my secondary, did this for 3 games, and every single game i got his primary (my secondary) and he got his secondary.

Support is not as popular as other positions, therefor teams are in higher need of supports then say a mid or adc. Its not really the queues fault. If you remember TB at all, waiting for mid would take like 5 minutes but if you played support you would get a game in a matter of seconds.

It is possible, he didn't say they had the same two roles, just that he took his friend's primary as his secondary.

In my experience just putting your secondary role as top like 90% of the time has gotten me in the role i pick first. To fix the problem of getting put in your secondary role if you don't want it just pick top or mid they are like the most popular roles and so there will almost always have someone get put there before you will.

If you see above I have put both top and mid as my 2nd. I was placed top over jungle in 5 out of 6 games. Clearly this does not work.

Even if it did it doesn't fix the underlying problem. Do we really want a que system where everyone puts in a role they may not be any good at in order to increase the odds of getting a role they are good at? Is it so hard to ask for a que system that allows people to play their #1 over half the time and their 2nd best the rest?
