So I was in this game when...
..I came out as jungle Diana (cue Devourer OP) and ran towards Yasuo. Reflexively, he threw up his Wind Wall as I sent out my Q. However, because it curves in an arc, it went around his wind wall and hit him, and I dashed in for an easy kill.
Now this actually has nothing to do with Yasuo specifically - but it was a unique moment in a game that felt very cool to me. His wall gets so much anger and rage, but with the Skillshot coding that was reworked and all the cool new fancy things they can do so much easier with codes, I wonder if some of this heat and rage won't subside. I see a future where we could have some very cool kits and abilities that continue to add depth and variety to the game. What if more Champions in the had "underground" abilities such as Nautilus' Ult? Or more skillshots with curved or multi-directional angles? What if we had a true "pet" Champion or a Champ who could truly Micro multiple units? What kind of crazy new mechanics are they going to introduce?
It just sort of got me on a spiral of "What ifs." I don't really have a major point here, but it was a rare moment in a League game - and yet I am saddened that so many players rage and scream at CertainlyT and the other designers for coming up with these unique Champions. Not saying that they are balanced, or aren't overloaded in some way, but maybe instead of trying to limit this creativity, we simply need more ways around it?
