Pokemon is 20 years old today o.O

I remember playing in a pokemon red/blue tournament at our local mall, took me 4 attempts to finally beat a Nintendo Representative. Every time I failed the Nintendo rep I had to re enter the tournament and beat like 3-4 kids then wait in a huge line with the other winners in order to play against the nintendo rep.

The nintendo rep used a big tv and had the SNES gameboy cart reader so we played on the tv while others watched, it helped build some strategy seeing others fail.

In the end I won a Mew for pokemon blue once I finally beat the Nintendo Rep
