Is it worth buying every champion? I've collected roughly half of the champions currently out. Some of them i purchase with RP when they are on sale prioritizing the ones i want, but also picking up a few champions i would like to learn in the future. I currently have lowest tier ruin pages for fun. I have thought about the team part of it, being able to pick any and all champions for others in ranked.
So is it worth it?
Yeah, it's a good idea to buy them all at some point, but first you should focus on your rune pages. :) After that you don't probably really have anything else to spend your IP on so...
you'll run out of stuff to spend ip on eventually. if you've got all the champions you want then get runes for awhile, but once you have all the runes you want you'll want to start picking up the more obscure champions even if it's just to screw around in normals :)
My issue is i keep saying "ok after this champ I'm gonna buy myself some real runes" then i immediately see another champ and I'm like "I NEED IT" so i spend my time saving up ip and then i buy that champ, then the cycle repeats... i have tier one runes... about half the page is filled.
Prioritize getting good, versatile runes like AD/AP marks, AD/AP quints, movespeed quints, armor seals and MR per level glyphs. Once you have those you can have a rune page that can do alright on almost any champion. After that, pay attention to who you like and focus on making rune pages for them, so you can have an even better time and because of that earn a bit more IP sooner.
It is good to get all the champions eventually, if for the very least switching, but if you're confident you have a few champs that you like and can do well with, go for runes first.
Get a few runes pages first ( I got 6) and then start buying champions. Honestly besides a few exceptions you can pretty much use similar runes pages for most champions so you don;t need one specialized for each one but 2 pages is not enough either.
