I was having a wonderful game, as riven (don't judge), when my internet cuts for literally 2 minutes MAX. When it gets back up, I attempted to reconnect. it failed and brought me to the after game screen because even though we were winning they happened to lose 2 minutes after I had died and dced. Well, I got a low priority queue for the next 5 games. I have to wait 20 minutes before I can even start playing a game. I'd honestly rather be banned for 3 days instead. I don't have time to wait 20 minutes for a game, go through ranked champ select just for more bull to happen and people dodge, just to start and game and end up spending over an hour playing a 35 minute game. Like rito, this is bull. It even counted as a defeat, rather than a leave.

My computer automatically updated, forcing a restart and knocking me out of the game for 10-15 minutes. By the time I reconnected, they also had an AFK (ironically it was their hypercarry irelia jungle), my lane had of course been pushed to shit but they were winning teamfights because my lane opponent was camping it out waiting for me to overextend. I started helping, farmed up, itemized to support and not carry, and ultimately was one of the deciding factors in the ace that lead up to our victory. I had come back to the game, helped us win, and I'm now in a low-priority q for 5 games. So, am I sleeping tonight? Nope! I'm going to waste an hour and 20 minutes total waiting for the timer to expire towards bot games, so I can no-delay play the new GP and practice Fiora to get good at her new design the moment 5.14 comes out.

If you don't have that kind of time then you should be able to appreciate how others feel about their time that you waste by leaving/DCing. 20 minute low priority queue doesn't come from a single leave, but a history of leaving. You should have AT LEAST had a warning, a 5 min low priority queue and a 10 minutes low priority queue.

Also the fact that it doesn't list it as a leave in your match history doesn't really mean anything. That "name turns red" thing seems to be a dated part of leaverbuster or not part of it at all. It seems to only be looking to see if you are idle for too long and I think it also only happens if you are idle at the end of the game. If, for example, you just run in circles at the fountain the whole game you won't be listed as a leaver but leaverbuster will count it.

These punishments aren't just something for you to have to put up with. You are being punished because you are leaving too many games. You need to be thinking about what is causing it and fix it before you continue to queue. Queuing up and hoping that you don't disconnect is not an acceptable solution.
