I was having a wonderful game, as riven (don't judge), when my internet cuts for literally 2 minutes MAX. When it gets back up, I attempted to reconnect. it failed and brought me to the after game screen because even though we were winning they happened to lose 2 minutes after I had died and dced. Well, I got a low priority queue for the next 5 games. I have to wait 20 minutes before I can even start playing a game. I'd honestly rather be banned for 3 days instead. I don't have time to wait 20 minutes for a game, go through ranked champ select just for more bull to happen and people dodge, just to start and game and end up spending over an hour playing a 35 minute game. Like rito, this is bull. It even counted as a defeat, rather than a leave.

My computer automatically updated, forcing a restart and knocking me out of the game for 10-15 minutes. By the time I reconnected, they also had an AFK (ironically it was their hypercarry irelia jungle), my lane had of course been pushed to shit but they were winning teamfights because my lane opponent was camping it out waiting for me to overextend. I started helping, farmed up, itemized to support and not carry, and ultimately was one of the deciding factors in the ace that lead up to our victory. I had come back to the game, helped us win, and I'm now in a low-priority q for 5 games. So, am I sleeping tonight? Nope! I'm going to waste an hour and 20 minutes total waiting for the timer to expire towards bot games, so I can no-delay play the new GP and practice Fiora to get good at her new design the moment 5.14 comes out.

If you don't have that kind of time then you should be able to appreciate how others feel about their time that you waste by leaving/DCing. 20 minute low priority queue doesn't come from a single leave, but a history of leaving. You should have AT LEAST had a warning, a 5 min low priority queue and a 10 minutes low priority queue.

Also the fact that it doesn't list it as a leave in your match history doesn't really mean anything. That "name turns red" thing seems to be a dated part of leaverbuster or not part of it at all. It seems to only be looking to see if you are idle for too long and I think it also only happens if you are idle at the end of the game. If, for example, you just run in circles at the fountain the whole game you won't be listed as a leaver but leaverbuster will count it.

These punishments aren't just something for you to have to put up with. You are being punished because you are leaving too many games. You need to be thinking about what is causing it and fix it before you continue to queue. Queuing up and hoping that you don't disconnect is not an acceptable solution.

This is my first "leave" in about a month or more. I have never had a 5 minute or 10 minutes, as well as my friends havent. My first one was a 20 minute 2 months ago. I was only gone from this game for 2 minutes at the very end after playing the entire game. I literally never leave games because I WANT TO WIN. I don't enjoy sitting in my rank, I want to get out for a reason. That is the sole reason I play ranked. And now my ranked experience is tarnished for the next few days because now my 50 minute windows of time for a ranked game can't be fulfilled unless I want to have to leave mid game. I would literally rather be banned for 7 days then have low priority queue. Because all in all this is bullshit; it isn't "low priority queue," it's just making me wait for 20 minutes before I get in game practically to discourage me from playing at all. If any member of Riot sees this, I don't care that I am being punished for leaving for 2 minutes. Just change my punishment from low priority to a 3 or 5 or even a 7 day ban.

If you didn't every have the warning or smaller LPQs you should submit a support ticket. You should have had a warning on your first leave that made you type "I agree". Then a 5 minute LPQ after that, the number of leaves to get this seems a bit variable depending on how many games you have played without leaving, then 10 min LPQ and finally 20 min LPQ after that. I kinda doubt you would forget going through those so has there been like anyone else else that used your account?

The point of a low priority queue over bans is specifically to make you experience the punishment. Where as a short ban is just like "go play something else for a week". They definitely aren't going to change your LPQ to a ban.

Lol i've never had anything that made me say "i agree" except when I signed up 5 years ago. Plus support ticket would be useless because they even said "we wont change your ban no matter what" which basically means "if a mistake happened, fuck you we dont want to hear about it"

I've never actually heard of leaverbuster making a mistake.

I know it says that they never reverse them but that doesn't necessarily mean they wouldn't reduce it if you had never received the previous smaller penalties. At the very least they should be able to shed some light on it.

Since Riot stated it was supposed to ignore people who were only gone for a few minutes, I'd argue that if a person was out of a game for 2 minutes and got punished... that's a mistake.

And I've heard several cases where people were only out of the game for short times. I know one person who got a 5 mniute lpq after being outside of a game for 35 seconds(I wish my client loaded as fast as his btw) - I know this 'cause I was spectating the game and watched it happen.
