I think I've grown to realize that Graves will never be reverted. [Rant]
Warning: Ranting, don't read if you only want to argue.
I had him as my secondary main (behind Kat) in season 5, playing him as ADC whenever I couldn't play mid lane. When I heard he was up for a large-scale rework, I got worried. I was hoping that Graves wouldn't be heavily changed or anything. The PBE patch notes had Graves' reworked abilities and passive. As I'm looking through them, I notice his W, E, and R are mostly unchanged. I felt the Q would've seemed a little clunky and the shotgun scatter was a little cool. However, I was trying to be positive with the rework and wanted to try him bottom lane, as an ADC. Now, I understand that Graves is quite fun for many people to play in jungle; I won't deny that. However, why is he still a jungler? Sure, champions are designed for certain roles and wind up in other ones (see: Nautilus), but why was an ADC moved to the jungle? Why was he given a mini knock-back on creeps for no apparent reason? Just looking over the time from pre-rework to reworked Graves, I have noticed these small things that almost look like they were encouraging Graves to be shoved out of bottom lane.
Anyways, all I am trying to say is that I miss playing a champion who is hardly viable in the role he was originally placed. People have suggested Lucian time and time again, but they don't have the true same satisfaction. Something as simple as a "Blast to the Past" gamemode, playing the champions as they were on release day (might want to include hotfix buffs and nerfs) would be more than sufficient in my opinion; all I want is the occasional time to play one of my favorite champions again.
On top of that, with the new reworks to tanks, I hope no one feels like their champion has been removed with this update.
