(riot help)ranked message that confuses me

so im looking at my profile and im at gold V with 15 LP, but there is a triangle with an ! that says "you are shielded from demotion but have lost too many games to maintain your current rank. winning more games will prevent you from being demoted." im kinda confused as to what exactly this is supposed to tell me. other than win moar
