Why people should stop giving others crap about being bad.

I'll admit, I'm not very good at this game. I am a horrible decision-maker, don't have time to get better, and I'm 1-5 in my promos(OMW to Bronze V...lmao). But that doesn't stop me from having fun when I play LoL, and what I hate more than anything isn't that people tell me I am bad, but how they say it. Before you keep raging at people and blame everyone but yourself, hear me out:

Firstly, no one's getting better when you rage. The game's not going to change if you rage. Why not give constructive criticism? Tell someone what they're doing wrong so they don't do it again. If they ignore you, tell them you're trying to help. Don't start slamming your keyboard like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Yea, that's what we see when you're toxic. A little kid who can't control himself. So try to teach or learn from mistakes rather than making the person play worse.

Secondly, if the person is so "trash", why are you in their elo? Maybe there's one game where one person is just really bad, but if you keep finding yourself being a jerk there's a problem with you. You're not as good as you think if everyone is so bad. And don't be a hypocrite. When someone messes up and you're doing worse than them don't try to blame your mistakes on them.

Thirdly, It's a game. I'm sorry if someone wasted 30 minutes of your life being a bad player, but it's only 30 minutes. You live a life averaging 70 years. Live with it. And why does it matter if someone sucks? To quote Sky Williams, "Elo ain't gonna pay the bills!" While you're sitting here raging and not having a life, that other person is actually doing stuff. Maybe president of a club. Star of the high school football team. And when they lead a good life where will you be? If you're in their elo, certainly not in the LCS. All that time playing a game with no tangible reward will fall upon you when you're 30 without a job. Don't rage because they're bad. Being bad at a game is not going to determine your entire life, unless you spend all your time playing it.

Lastly, just remember most people average a 50% win rate-even me. If you can't live with losing half of your games, uninstall. This game is meant to be fun, and so if you are not going to have fun for around half of the time you are missing the point. Remember-you have bad games too. One game won't define a player's skill if they fall behind due to mistakes. They've probably been fed and carried a game. You just weren't there.

In conclusion, LoL community, I play this game to have fun. Please don't ruin it by caring too much about a video game. There is just so much about this community that is so horrible. And we need the Tribunal back to help. Peace, Ultimate Snipe

Peace.

It's sad that, sometime, I fear to be trash talk when I am doing bad. I fear to be call a noob or anything else. I just want to have fun. I don't want to win a prize money or anything. When people trash talk to me, I have no fun anymore. I remember one time playing Bard or another time playing Kalista in an ARAM game and called, for the latter, the worst Kalista NA. I was certainly supposed to be good because she is OP. Now, I fear playing them again ...

I practice Kalista for fun in a custom game but I fear going to teambuilder.

Your toughts help me. Thank you. ^^

Have fun for all your future games !

I agree with most of your points and that it certainly is not beneficial to rage at a bad player; however, playing with such a person may also be extremely frustrating from the perspective of the 4 other people on the team.

It simply is not possible to ignore a player who is doing poorly. Especially if he or she feeds a snow balling champion, the ramification of that individual's skill - or lack of- affects the entire team.

Still, by no means it gives a green light for other people to harass that player, but it shouldn't also allow for that player to queue in knowing that he or she will likely drag down the rest of the team.

Everyone else is probably trying their best to win, and so should you. If you don't have a lot of time for League, consider mastering easy champions such as Garen or Annie to fall back on before moving on to more risky ones.

See, I had a few loses yesterday cause my team had no synergy. And when I say no synergy, I mean I can dive to initiate fights, but nobody follows because they're scared. When team fights do occur, it's actually 2 people caught out, and the others stay back trying to figure out what to do.

Funny thing. I don't rage. I get sarcastic and make jokes about the entire situation.

I was Shen with Pantheon, Syndra, Kayle, and Heimy.

Heimy rarely placed turrets. he went 0/16/6. We were better off without him.

Kayle did use her ult, but we just couldn't get things done because of bad plays.

Don't know about Syndra.

Panth was raging (I'll let him have it cause he had 14/14/2 KDA). He and I was just talking about how we were kinda screwed because there was nothing we could do with Nid chucking spears, so...we said fuck it. Both of us dove their team, 2 v 5. Took out 3. XD And we were just tanky enough to drive them back from our nexus all the way to their FIRST turret (yes, we couldn't take down their outer turret). Needless to say, Panth and I became friends soon after. Lol.

But yeah. Little is worse for me than when I wind up feeding, not because I'm bad (which, sometimes, I honestly am), but because my team is too scared to do anything.

Oh? Enemy team is poke heavy? Dive them. Heavy Poke comps love it when the enemy is scared. Because they can just KEEP poking you down. You can be under turret, and they hit you. I fed 4 kills trying to initiate before a teammate said they were scared to go in. So...I died for nothing. And I wound up feeding 10 times that game with only 3 kills because, well...team doesn't go into the fight. I mean, our Kat did (she raged so hard), but her KDA was 3/10 like mine. XD No team commitment is a lost game from beginning to end.

Why are you playing rank when you know you do not have the time to work your play style? You obviously want to do what you want to do. You should play nomrals since you seem to not care. Ranked is for people that do care.

"Star of the high school football team."

Shows how much you know.

I think more than anything I want an auto response for when you're muted. Not one that auto responds always, but if they use my summoner name or champ name in their chat it just starts spamming super galaxy rumble audio quotes in their client for 10 seconds and is like "dude, they muted you, in the chat log."

You'd be able to never trigger it if you didn't want to so it couldn't troll you and it would be so funny to know that a ragging troll can't say this x is so trash constantly w/out getting spammed like they were playing against SGR. Possible alternatives are teemo laugh, and morgan freeman telling them they are a bad person and no one likes them so they have been muted. Rito I know you can do this. You have automated systems for curse words and racial slurs and probably for turning on our web cams to monitor "player behavior," and we all know you make enough money from this game to hire morgan freeman for like 2 sentences if you decide SGR is too horrendous a punishment to make people suffer through.

GOOD post.

Good post. Remember people, every one has bad games. Chances are they know they are doing badly and so yelling at then is only going to make then do worse.
