I think it is time to help shorten queue times. Give us a fill, but not X role option. It would open up the game to players that really suck with 1 role.
It could also allow faster queue's for those that can play 4/5 roles. I don't know why those people are being punished by having to pick 2 roles, when they could pick 4...
Yesterday a duo and I waited 20 minutes to get into a game... because we couldn't both just eliminate our worst role.

Honestly, support would be a whole lot more fun if you weren't forced to build sightstone the majority of the time. I love playing tanks in the support role. It feels rewarding, and diving with face of the mountain's shield is so satisfying. But other supports like Janna or Soraka feel underwhelming just because their kits feel overbearingly passive to me. I dunno. Maybe if supports had more room to build something that makes them feel like more of a threat instead of always having to get some form of secondary, or even a tertiary support item, they'd feel a whole lot more rewarding to play.
This is all my own opinion of course, everyone else may and will feel differently.
