Just had a game with someone who dropped from plat 2 into bronze and sat there the whole time just telling everyone they sucked and proceeded to feed... Like honestly i thought higher elo players were supposed to be good and know how to play...
Ramtech1173 votesI was in silver 5 & am now bronze 5 (Thanks to a bunch of afkers) & i don't even act that way. People need to really learn to be more positive when they play & not bash their own just because they think they are better. If they are in fact better than they think they are, they wouldn't be playing as bad as they are. Sure, i got dropped my ass into bronze 5, but all i'm going to do now is climb back up, duo queue, & get my ass out of bronze. Good day sir or mam!

In a way it seems like you are very reliant on your team and if they do well or are afk, and you lose then your rankings will drop no matter how well you may have done in game. Or are your in-game stats used to determine your rank and not whether your team wins or lose? I am still trying to understand. I want to another 100 or some games under my belt before I try ranked.
MackleDoge1 votesYou're playing League, which is a 5v5 game as a standard. You will always have to rely on your team to a certain extent, however, there is plenty of room for you to just faceroll over the enemy team if you play well enough and carry.
Your MMR is determined solely off of winning and losing (as it should be).
The most important thing about starting ranked is to do it when you feel comfortable with your ability to play every role with numerous champions. You need to feel confident that you have good mechanical skills and have a solid understanding of the game and map awareness.
Sir ArmaMalum1 votesKeep in mind most of the posts about ranked you find in forums are the worst of the worst. Horror stories of you will. No one is going to come into the forums with a post about a normal game that went well and they won. Imho ranked is definitely more intense but overall a better experience more often than not because everyone on your team wants to win, and above a certain rank people realize helping out and being positive allows you to win more. So don't be afraid of ranked, if you are at least comfortable in most roles and are confident in your own ability I suggest you go for it and try it out! Gl hf!

TheRealKappy2 votesIt would not surprise me if he was just lying. Many people like that say things like "I used to be plat 2" or "I am a Diamond smurf" just to cover up for their incompetence.
