Favorite champs for each position and why?
I was just wondering if people would share their favorite champions for each position and give a description why. :) Ill start:
Top for me is
And yeah people call him OP but honestly to me he is just fun to play he has great outplay potential and also great team fight potential
Jungle for me would have to be
He is very underrated sometimes in the jungle but i love his ability to gank and his passive is great for an early tower dive gank for a first blood
Mid For me this would have to be
Because he is hit or miss and for me that is fun... I like to know that if my early game goes amazing and i get kills i can snowball out of control and wreck people but on the flip side its fun to know you could possibly fall behind hard and have to work your butt off to get back in the game
ADC Fot me this is definitly
Because IMHO she is just all around a good adc... her early game isnt the strongest but it is still strong enough you can poke your opponents out of lane or even get an early first blood if you play her right and then ya know being able to 2 shot the other adc late game is also fun
Support and last but not least my favorite supp is definitely
Just the ability to make plays with the pull whether early or late game and the knockup to help get the kill or even to help save your adc in a tough situation... plus he has good aoe dmg in the middle of a team fight if need be
Well that is my list share yours i would love to see peoples reasonings :)
. He has a jump and a stun. But the jump isn't too OP because he can only use it on minions or teammates. This makes sure he can't just run away like
for AD or
for AP. Both champs have a jump or escape. Ahri's R and Zeds W. But they can both be very effective in duels. Zed cause of his passive, and high damage. Also his E slows that is very important when running. Ahri is good cause of her dashes with her R to evade skillshot and her charm lets the outplays to continue. But
is good for team mates. So i guess it matters what type of comp we want and what type of comp they have.
is my main for jg. He has great ganks due to his jump then he slows. But his jump comes up immediately if he kills someone so this allows you to get multi kills or gap close. He can do massive amounts of damage if you farm and get an assist here or or there. Also his R lets you stealth so this can be used to get away or kill someone.
. She has a bad early game yes, but once you hit lvl 6 and get a core item and one or two side items, then you get started. You snowball very fast and due to her W with its 3 proc that also has armor pen, she can do damage to tanks. She also has here tumble and stealth when her ulti is active.
as supp due to her heal, speed boost, and stun. She is very effective with her R. This allows you to either disengage or engage. This allows your ADC to stay alive for longer. But if you want to be able to poke with your ADC and get some damage down, i go with
or
. Zyras ulti is also a stun kind of, and her grasping roots is death if you get caught out with one. Thresh has his lantern, and if you land a death sentence all you have to do is throw it out, flay, then ulti. This lets you ADC to get fed.
: Great sustain and in my opinion the best option to a AD Mid
Off Meta Pick:
: Even though he is technically a top laner you never see him in today's meta picks. If I wanted to be more obscure I would have picked urgot.
: Aatrox in my opinion is the beast of the jungle. You got great sustain, you don't need to hog blue buff and your knockup can win Teamfights,
Off Meta:
to mention him, He I find the better in the mid lane for I build more AP than AD on him (even though I get one/two ad items). And he is fun to try using his ult as a armor buff during games (You pretty much every time he goes in ult him you get the bonus armor/mr and possibly under turret)
: The CC man, the CC.
. Cho is a great pick as a top or mid laner though he does work best top. While he has a somewhat weakish early game once he gets to level 6 and a stack or two of his ult he can do a nice amount of damage and begins to get very tanky. Cho's skills are also a huge reason why I love him. His passive grants great sustain, his Q while hard to land provides a knock up and slow that helps when you want to poke the enemy laner, farm minions, engage opponents in ganks and team fights, and get away from enemies chasing you or your allies. Cho's W deals a large amount of damage but more importantly silences his opponents which is a huge help when fighting people. Seriously a good silence could win you a team fight or secure a kill that otherwise would have gotten away or even killed you. His E provides Cho good farming ability without his e farming early level would be absolute hell. Lastly his ult is basically a built in smite that you can even use on champions. Did I forget the ult does true damage? If Cho' Gath lands a full combo with this Q W E R there are not many champions who will be left standing if not running/ limping away. Cho while hard to paly really pays off when played correctly and will be a valubale addition to many comps. However there are also downsides to him. When cho gets countered he gets countered hard. If cho gets shut down early he will stay down for either the whole game or almost all of it. Chogath is also the only champ to my knowledge that can reverse snowball. Chos ult can stack up to 6 times and each stack increases his health and attack range. The stacks from his ult grant him alot of his tankyness. When Cho dies he loses half his stacks and has to build them back up again. This is not very easy to do late game where you could be dragged into back to back team fights. Overall I think Cho' Gath is an amazing champ that quite frankly does not get the attention he deserves.

Will go Sona unless again, team is squishy and needs a tank.
The incredibly variable nature of her kit makes her much more engaging to play than other laners, in my opinion. Laning in general is pretty boring for me, but the attention to detail required to push and trade optimally with her makes up for that. Also, she looks sweet. Used to be Jax, but, well... hype happens.
As with Orianna, the dependence on positioning and outplay potential in skirmishes make Nami somewhat more engaging to play than other supports. Also, dem emotes.
: I actually think the nerf that Riot gave him was necessary, even though he's my favorite. While I'm sad I don't get cheap shots in with my headbutt, I always did feel like Headbutt + Auto (and Headbutt + Pulverize, for that matter) was a bug that should have been fixed, for the health of the game. Still, he's a disruptive CC tank that's just really fun to play in top lane, even if everyone hates me for it :3
and
: Mumu is pretty easy to play, has great CC, and can be built super tanky or AP if you got your troll pants on. Rengar is a pretty kitty cat, also just jumping on stuff from bushes is so much fun.
and
: I know it's silly, but TF just got more appealing to me since I was gifted a mystery skin (ty Valkyrie Witch :3). Plus my mechanics are finally good enough that I can pull the card I want. Ryze is just a silly champion; he does everything: DPS, Burst, Off-Tank, plus he heals himself and has AoE with his ult.
: They're just fun to play, honestly. They all offer a lot to the team; individually, Tristana is my oldest and most consistent main champion, Jinx is crazy and I love it, Corki has amazing mixed threat.
: Tank supports are fun. Thresh and Braum are pretty standard; Gragas is a champion I mained in mid lane before his rework, and I love the CC he has as a support.
