Summoners say they want change, but they really don't. It's us flexible ones that appreciate these amazing changes to good old Skar Skar. Players are mad he doesn't have his heal or Permaslow, but Bruiser Skarner is just as well. He gets kited, but a good Skarner player saves his W until the right time. Skarner is good no matter what the naysayers may... say. This same thing happened with Karma. She did not fit well in the game, just like old Skarner. Post rework, she came out to a crowd that hated her. She was buffed, and now she sits quietly, waiting for people to realize her amazing potential as a top tier poke support. Same with Skarner. People hated it, he got buffed, and now he waits patiently, for the Summoner that will believe in him once more. Summoners like you and I.

I agree with OP. I win 100% of my ARAMs that I get when I roll him and about 75-80% of my Summoners Rift games. Very VERY few people played Skarner before and I didn't really find him that viable but I really like to play him now. Also, in response to the above comment, I never really noticed a lack of flow in his new kit. Combo E (To get in auto range) into W (Also, to get in auto range) into Q (for attack speed to lower cooldowns) into R (to keep them from running away easily) feels pretty fluid to me but maybe I'm misunderstanding something.

The main reason is that Skarner is no longer who Skarner was. The rework in reality gave us a new champion that just happens to have Skarner's name and a few commonalities in their respective kits. Also, feedback given per and post rework being frankly ignored, responses form Scruffy and or any Rioter were either absent or lacking a direction in accordance to the flow of feedback given, and promises made that have yet to be for-filled. The lack of a cohesive flow within this new kit also is a rather big deal. Hope this helps answer some of your questions.

Mostly people that didn't play/like old scarner like u can say they like the rework. He just lost a lot of his feeling. Playing him feels wierd and a bit like a new champ, and for me it isn't very statisfying.

I mostly played him as ap-bruiser top, but as ap-toplaner he sufferd alot from that rework as he lost dps and tankiness and didn't gain anything in return. Since i never liked him in the jungle, Scarner prettymuch died for me with the removed heal and lower dps on E. As a jungler he does well now, but only after the first few buffs. directly after the rework, he just sucked.

Also about that karma rework, new karma needed quite alot off buffs to become viable so the complains right after the rework were justyfied, and even now, she's just a new champ that has nothing in common with the old Karma. The few people that liked old Karma lost a champ, the rest gained one.
