Thank you, people who won't surrender a hopeless game

for wasting an additional 20 minutes of my time

for making an already depressing game even more unfun

for making me lose 20 lp instead of 11

for basically making a bad situation so much worse

it is people like you who are toxic and give up early who ruin many games on league.

coming from behind is a huge part of the thrill of the game.

In the match from yesterday linked above, we were getting our poop pushed in for most of the game, and only me and one ally wanted to keep playing. the rest were surr spamming. we begged them to just try, because we weren't going to surrender. ... and try they did. i built to counter their most fed champ, and they worked together to dominate late game. We had a decisive victory, despite only having one person on our team with a K:D ratio over 1:1.

Teamwork and perseverance are two traits of people who don't get stuck in mad mode all the time, blaming it on "noob feeding allies".

first off, I wasn't being toxic, and I didn't even give up early. I was just begging them to surrender because we were getting absolutely annihilated. at 20 minutes, when I first tried a surrender vote, the score was 4 to 26. by 25 minutes 3 of them were legendary and their bard support could 1v1 any one of us except our yi. teamwork and perseverance is one thing, but being naïve and trying to resurrect a long lost game is pointless and makes the match so much worse for your allies, both with the experience and with the lp they lose.

next time, don't fill in the blanks with douchey assumptions.
