Kept constantly logging into League, kept getting that "Could not connect to HTTP server....." box
Please tell me I'm not the only one having this problem....

Okay, I tried my home desktop to log into LoL, got the exact same message as well. Hope Riot fixes this fast......
It's fine now, was having trouble earlier myself... For me anyways.
aaand, you know those moments where it goes "logged in successful... "? and where people normally switch tabs to continue doing w/e the heck they do, come back expecting to see the hub, but "you have been disconnected". Yea.
Same thing here, now getting a message saying "the login server did not respond, etc'
EDIT: looks like it's up now, but the chat is f-d up EDIT 2: I'm still logged into league, surprisingly. Has anyone else been able to log in? Just finished an aram with no connection issues so far LAST EDIT HOPEFULLY: Chat is up and working, from the looks of it, finally let me reconnect
Same thing is happening to me right now too. I figured I had to just uninstall and install again but the download page isn't up.
Glad it's not me. Riot blame something to do with my connection, which I know can't be true because nothing has changed in forever, so I check the status on the website and it doesn't say it's down. I'm having slow launches, too, so I figure it's riot.
Same happening. After about 15 tries I finally made it to login'. Try to login' and it made the attempt to only close out upon not being able to connect. Well, break time from LoL is nice.
It's happening to me on euw as well. It worked fine this afternoon (like 8 hours ago)
Had this error a few moments ago, reset my router and it started fine. Now whether the reset fixed it or it was something on Rito's end I'm not sure.

Changing the DNS and Alternative DNS to the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4) fix that issue.
On Mac go to Network Advanced, go to the DNS tab and click on the plus (+) icon on the lower left corner, then add the 8.8.8.8, then do it again and type the 8.8.4.4. On windows is much easier, Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections, then right click Properties, Internet protocol Verision 4 (TCP/IPv4), properties and change the DNS and Alternative DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively. I hope it works for someone. P.S: Leave a comment if it worked for you.
Mine still won't load
Not just you... played a game... left to go take a shower, came back and it said that I was disconnected from the server, so I logged out and now I'm having the same problem. >.
