Dunkey has been playing, promoting, enjoying, this game for 4 years.

This isn't a guy who was doing it for the money, or the fame. It was just fun for him. He was doing LoL videos before it was a huge worldwide hit. This was a guy who loved League of Legends. He deserved his time ban, sure, that's what happens when you break the Summoner's Code. He could just wait out his two week ban, and come back and play when it's over. But he's not. He's leaving for good. A guy who has stuck with this game for FOUR YEARS is gone, not because he received a ban, but because he just doesn't enjoy the game anymore. The fact that Dunkey, DUNKEY, can't have fun in this game after all the time he's put into it, really tells a story about how this game has gone downhill. Riot drove away one of it's most avid, beloved players with all their bullshit and the sorry, unfun state they've left the game in.

The terrible ranked system, Riot's greedy cash grabs, the absolute incompetence of the balance team, the outdated client, and the players who don't take ranked seriously (encompasses trolls, AFKs, and intentional feeders) have all just piled up over the years, and Riot has done nothing about it. And now one of their most famous promoters has left.

That's really sad to me, and I wish it would be a wake up call to the people in charge of this game. But it won't be. We'll all keep buying PROJECT skins, and we'll keep watching LCS, and Riot will look at their profits and call it a good day, while the game rots away as it's creators strip it for parts, squeezing out every last inkling of money to be had. The players cry out, we know there's something wrong with this game, But Riot won't listen. They don't care about us.
