Dear Lyte,

 I am writing this to inform you of my total disgust with you and your Leaverbuster system.

I am trying to think of every intelligent and classy way possible to insult you profusely, But I am so furious with your incompetent system that I find myself struggling to remain composed to insult you in the manner that you deserve.

All that is running through my red mind right now are the darkest, dampest, most heinous and blatant insults to spew at you like a Nazi machine gunner at the beaches of Normundy.

You willingly create a flawed discipline system that cannot tell the difference between a troll disconnect and a dc as a result of outside issues, be it Riots fault or a simple bugsplat.

Hundreds of players have voiced their legitimate concerns over your 3rd world developed system. Your post on your leaverbuster thread had almost 1000 downvotes. Your response illustrated to us that you do not care.

I repeat: You do not care if your system is flawed and unfair.

This is not a sign of goodwill or faith. It is a sign of devilish blasphemy.

The game was better off without your lazy system.

I shall now close this post by reminding you how much you displease me.

They don't care if you left or have connection problems. The effects are the same. Maintaining your computer and connection are your responsibility and if you are DCing enough to get punished by leaverbuster then you need to fix whatever is causing the disconnects before requeuing.

  1. How can anyone tell whether you quit or disconnect for technical reasons.
  2. If it is happening frequently enough to call the harsh LB penalties down, WHO CARES?! That means you have left a large number of games, ruining them for other players. Sort your connection problems out.

Hey now, punishments ramp up.

Multiple DC's over a short period of time still punish your team (if you reconnect immediately, all is good and you won't get punished). You think it's fair to get off scott free? Yeah, it sucks, but you need to ensure you have a stable connection, otherwise you cause a negative experience for your team.

Still, there's options. I can't play at home (currently at college, so when I'm home for the holidays) so I usually play at the coffee shop or the library. If you have an unstable internet connection, consider playing elsewhere if you have a laptop. Or play on a college computer (surprisingly enough, you can play League on them).

But saying Leaverbuster is dumb for that reason is, well, flawed.

But neither can your team that has to 4v5.

However, I will admit that bugsplat issues or issues with the client should be forgiven or something. Maybe another system to detect issues with your client or crashing outside your control. Otherwise, if it's a thing with the servers, Rito tends to be merciful and give us loss forgiveness (it has happened before plenty, if you don't recall).

You don't get leaverbuster punishments for single leaves. There is built in leniency expecting everyone to have a certain amount of problems and if you are getting punished you have left more than that.

I finish champ select, countdown begins, then the window just minimizes without the loading screen. I close client and try to connect but the "reconnect" button wasn't working.

A lot of players recently are having the exact same problem...you assuming ass donkeys!
