so i see 3 possibilities here

he actually got a lot more focused on the game and improved
his account got stolen
hes getting boosted

i highly doubt its the 3rd unless you guys only play ranked together, but even then the 2nd one doesnt make much sense to me either if his account was stolen why would it keep playing with you?
