Can we for once have a Season without having an individual meta?
Cz when a certain meta is announced (like the current Marksman Meta), Riot will simply just say "FK BALANCING!" and mindlessly buff anything that relates to the labeled meta.

Except every elo has its own meta anyway that's existed for years.
Things get nerfed because low elo. Things get nerfed because le LCS. Things get nerfed because a rito guyhad a terrible idea and no one stopped him from implementing a huge buff that will cause the champion to get banned for the next month of ranked.

Whether it's a huge advantage or a minor one, one group or set of champions will be a little bit better than another. That's how metas form. Sometimes it just takes more time to figure out.
You do realize they'll still be a meta even if Riot doesn't officially support it right?
Meta exists in every competitive game. The players are going to find the best way to win and use that. Other people are going to innovate and figure out how to beat the best meta tactic, if that strategy works enough it'll become the new meta. That cycle continues indefinitely. It happens in everything. Riot is simply just acknowledging that fact and creating the base of the meta themselves. Players just find things that are good against the meta riot intended to create and make their own meta out of that. For example, Riot announced the beginning of the Marksman meta. What champions instantly become hugely strong picks?
The champions that enable marksmen or counter them soon become the best way to win the game instead of the marksmen themselves.
