We all know that 
is of a legendary race of warriors known as the Darkin. We also know that these warriors have supposedly been reported to appearing in both Jax's and Darius' classic splash art. My question is will these and the other two Darkin be revealed. Maybe not as Champions but as something else?
Isn't the one on Hecarim's splash just one of his spectral riders?

Call me crazy, but may I ask where in the lore it actually states that the Darkin were all specifically warriors? Perhaps they were a race as diverse as humanity. That would open up a few more possibilities. For example, nobody knows ANYTHING for certain about 
, and he's one of the most likely (in my opinion, of course) to be one of the Darkin, just of a different mindset than . Again, he's stated as being an enigma, and he seems just as otherworldly as Aatrox, so I think it's perfectly reasonable that he could be of the same race.

I agree that in Jax's splash it looks like Aatrox, but Darius' it's obviously a noxian grunt - unless Darius was commanding an army of Darkin. Heca's doesn't remind me of anything other than his spectral riders.
Also, there's a pretty solid theory that Varus is a half-Darkin - he wasn't fully changed because of his protective, magical tattoos and/or his talisman. He bears a resemblance to Aatrox and possess a living weapon that makes him inhumane when fighting.
I would love to see another Darkin champion, probably related to Mount Targon and Shurima, representing the 
Sun about how Lunari got wiped out, which inspired Rakkor war tribe and Solari feeling guilty to talk about. The appearance of "Darkin Sun" would be a mix of Myrmidons (Greek warriors) and Aztec Eagle Warriors with a blueish skin opposite of Aatrox red skin, and the weapon of choice would be a golden shield in a shape of a discus representing Solari Sun, Shurima Disc and Rakkor Shield, but that would be merely a decoration since he rely on the power from the sun.

I think the one in the Hecarim artwork is just one of spectral riders.
The Darkin in the Darius picture and the Jax picture appear to be quite similar and since these two are both masters of battle it may be a Darkin due to the fact that Aatrox is always present at battles.
