How the Pool Party Event went..

In all honestly, I like what they did. First off, their were some flaws like the minions. The minions could've just been a bonus to the event, without us actually reaching it. But I do like what they did with the discounts, PP Mundo, IP rewards, and ext. I don't know if you guys have noticed, like really noticed, but this event (I believe) was to encourage more teamwork, and more communication as a community as a whole. Look at all the posts and threads about the pool party. We are communicating, and I think that's what they strived for. Now the pool party Mundo, logically, yes the bar they set was a good amount. Like it was a free skin, on top of the mystery champion/skin (if you own all champs you get a mystery skin if you didnt know yet) and that's a lot of dedication they have to the players. To give out a new skin and give you a champ or skin. So I encourage all of you not to complain, but actually commend riot for doing this event. We got fun out of all of this. And let me remind you this company has done a lot over the years, and I think they should be told they are doing a great job. Because without them we wouldn't have played or known this game.

I feel like people would have been less annoyed about the pool party minions if they had been the lowest tier available. It would make it seem less like a reward that needed to be earned, and more like a progress marker that Riot wanted to release as bonus to go along with the theme.

The only real change I would have wanted was some points for smaller groups (3 or 4), even if it was much smaller point values.

It was a cool idea sure, but what it ended up being to me was an excuse to go to a chatroom and play with some randoms of varying elo. Which I rarely do, so it was an experience. (The difference between a game where there's 50 kills and only 2 towers taken and a game where there's 15 kills but we're in their base is interesting). They should have promoted this better though, I feel like most people didn't know about it or the chatrooms.

Since you mentioned the whole encouraging teamwork thing, I think now is a good time to say I think we should keep using the pool party chat rooms for eternity. It was a lot of fun to be able to just jump into a 5 man group whenever I wanted to. I don't find the same feeling in other chat rooms.

The one thing I would've changed, from Riots perspective, is, even if it means setting the bar higher, give one or two points to 5 man premades who lose the game. Its kind of ridiculous. I had to play 5 games before I earned my first point.
