Not that I was going to build it... but does it work?

"ARDENT HEALING +15% bonus healing and shielding power"

In the end, the mana regen and lack of defensive stats make it pale in comparison to all of the traditional Mordekaiser items. I will probably test it out at least once considering the 8% movespeed though.

I was thinking about the bonus 15% shielding +ap, just seemed like it could be something interesting to play with.

Gunblade gives more shield and healing because of its hybrid offensive stats and omnivamp passive, so the last three things Censer has over that is a lower price, 10% CDR, and a huge static movespeed bonus. The nature of Mordekaiser's kit makes him scale with almost every stat, which opens him up to an enormous variety of items. He's reliant on getting flat movespeed from boots as early as possible and the stats and slow from Rylai's, which means only 4 item slots are left, and Censer has to compete with all of these: item 3146 item 3078 item 3152 item 3742 item 3065 item 3083 item 3151 and that's only counting the items that fulfill the needs Censer would contribute to. Items like Sterak's Gage are always more valuable to Mordekaiser than flat AP after 5.11.

All that being said, because Mordekaiser can benefit from many different build paths, it's fun simply to try other stuff that may not necessarily be optimal. For that reason, I still upvoted the post and look forward to trying Censer myself. All of what I've said is still theory, we have to play a game out to see if what I think really is true.
