Taric's Ulti Delay...

Why is his ulti delay 2.5 seconds... Other than kayles ult... I don't remember the last time I survived longer than 2.5 seconds in a real fight.

Even as a "tank" most of the time I see 2 second deaths. That isn't even enough time to prevent most channeled abilities from fully going off. Honestly I wonder how many times it took them to time that lux ulti in the video right. Considering that she has a .5 second cast timer if she had pressed w and her ulti as taric cast it, it still would have gone off before his ulti dropped.

I think it is meant more for tower diving than anything else. While the delay can be managed I just dislike how telegraphed it is. And I wonder if killing me will prevent it from completing the cast or if it goes off regardless of whether or not I live. There are many questions I have about this new ultimate.

I think that's probably the only way for them to keep it balanced, considering it can make a whole team invulnerable AND they can still use their abilities.

I get that, I just don't remember the last time I saw a someone, especially the adc live that long in a fight... It also makes it seem like random casting my might give better luck since it has a longer windup than pretty much any other spell.
