Its a shame that soraka is so incredibly weak that she isn't played. Sona, Ali, and Nami all have heals that are just as effective as Soraka's. However, Soraka's heal can only be used on other champions and she lacks both an increase in damage and viable CC, which the previously mentioned champions all bring in addition to healing. Soraka has a giant target on her because she has no real self-sustain, and this results on her being poked out before she can prevent any meaningful damage on her partner. Just like the Sion rework, the Soraka rework is a flop.
Now that's what I call passive-aggressive!
I just wish they would add a use to her W... That if she self heals it doesn't cost 10% of her HP (that wouldn't make any fucking sense) but her W goes on CD for like 22 seconds. I don't know why that's NOT a part of her kit.

Not to break your "soraka best mother" moment, but it's not a sacrifice, is the only thing she can do, the old soraka had to choice if heal herself or you, now is more like: "well, i used my other spells and i'm going to die anyway, let's use W".

Her poke with her Q is amazing. I was able to hold of a Verus and Morgana Solo bot for 10 mins thanks to that Q and Cait being afk.
That Q has great wave clear. The silence has great zoning. I like the squishier Soraka gives more counter play then being the uncilable healer that gives infant mana and can silence people.
