posting on these boards, or riot even maintaining them, if when the community speaks to them through it, its ignored? why not just save some money tencent, and shut this down?

It isn't ignored, i think you draw a false equivelance between THE COMMUNITY being ignored and you not being the Center of Attention at all times.
