When Ziggs Bot got praised/triggered more than Morde Bot
You know there's something wrong.
So when can we expect Mordekaiser's kit reverted like Kog'maw does? Or are you just gonna leave him in this non-changing shittiest state ever?

morde bot doesn't 2 shot towers though and needs a way to get close to you in order to feed you your own weapon
Mordekaiser's rework was obviously a failure, however Riot really doesn't know what they want for him in the future as a whole. I know that they plan to give him a full VGU that will fix his problems and I also know that they made a huge mistake reworking them how they did, however the reason why Kog's rework got reverted is because they saw that old Kog had the same visions that they were having for new Kog, but it did the job in a more balanced way that was better for game health as a whole. New Mordekaiser doesn't do anything any better than old Mordekaiser does, and until Riot gets around to doing the full VGU and recreating Mordekaiser from the ground up, even they probably won't know what he's supposed to do as a champion. From a lore perspective, he was once the leader of Noxus and was resurrected using necromancy. His bones being all important to his resurrection sticking, they are currently hidden in the Shadow Isles. Now, as for gameplay, he really doesn't have much of anything going for him. Necromancer is something that's already filled much better by the new Yorick rework, so that's out of the question for gameplay designs for him. Beyond that, there's a fair amount that could be done to make him truly feel like a ruler of Noxus long past, but because Riot really didn't have a clue how to import something from his lore into his gameplay thematics to make him truly feel like that Noxian leader he's supposed to, they turned to unique design spaces. Bot lane used to be a Bruiser-type carry and then a secondary role that was pretty much just a filler role before the current META developed. A marksman would go mid lane, junglers would be strong gankers or support junglers like Nunu and would take the first camp or 2 and then just not even farm the jungle and gank nonstop, and I don't even remember what top lane had. Mordekaiser would have very easily fit into this old META as a bot lane bruiser carry (hell, Blitzcrank was a popular choice for that - and back then his hook was targeted, too), so Riot clearly wanted to try to revive that old bot lane bruiser as a viable option because it was a pretty unique design space. However, it was not a design space for a champion whose primary weakness is getting kited when the enemy that you're competing with has the job of kiting built into their very essence as a role. As such, the only way to make Mordekaiser viable in the bot lane to make the new rework see play was to make him stupidly overpowered, and they succeeded with that, however, after several numbers nerfs, he was in a spot where he could be considered balanced again and he quickly dropped down a hole, going from being stupidly broken to being incredibly weak in the role that he was meant to be played in. Now, I think that Ivern's Q allowing allies to dash to the target could make for a bot lane bruiser coming back to the bot lane alongside Ivern supporting them, however it's an interaction that people need to see first and they also need to see a reason to pick up a champion who is going to, unless he is played aggressively, get beaten down in lane.
As for one potential future design space I could see for Mordekaiser, I could see him being redesigned into this kind of rot lord, where now he uses his own remains in his kit somehow as well as him being a Noxian leader. His lore is relatively important for both Noxus and the Shadow Isles, though, so I think that, if he's going to be reworked, he will probably either be reworked around his current lore or the entirety of the lore for Noxus especially will be reworked so that he is allowed to exist and move away from the necromancer design space that Yorick now fills. Meanwhile, he's going to remain gutted because the rework that Riot put out for him as part of the Juggernauts rework was a complete failure, but it suffers from all the same problems his old kit had, as well.
Don't want to talk about it
