Questions About CSing (Need Help)

I can't seem to reach an "acceptable" amount of cs by the times I should have them. I often see Challenger players with 80+ cs at 10 minutes and 200 cs by 22, 300 at 32, etc. I reach 70-75 cs by 10 minutes usually, but in a lot of circumstances I'll only have 60-70 at 10 minutes (usually in midlane). Then my cs just stops happening beyond that, usually having 140-160 at 22 minutes and barely reaching 200 around the 32 minute mark. Whenever I go into customs to train my cs (if you know the answers to these questions you know what I'm talking about), I almost always reach perfect cs if not missing about 1 minion per minute. So my questions (Keep in mind this is for Ranked games):

  1. Is LCS cs generally higher than solo q cs? 1b. If so, why is it higher?
  2. How can I guarantee 80 cs by 10 minutes? (especially in aggressive or countered lanes like playing Ahri against Annie or any champion against LeBlanc)
  3. How can I reach 200 cs at 22/keep my cs on standard?

I'm probably not even as good at cs'ing as you, so maybe you'll just ignore me on that, but, I would suggest that if you aren't sure when and where to pick up cs, watch xiaoweixiao (sp) over and over. watch all of the TiP vods and even go back and watch lmq vods, and be constantly on the look out for where his farm is coming from.

I could try and give general pointers on getting farm, but, like i said, i may not be the best opinion there, so just watch your boy xiao.

  1. it is higher 1b. it's higher because they really know how to cs and instead on fighting the whole the, they focus on csing and poking. when they do focus on fighting, their cs tends to drop a bit.
  2. it's really hard sometimes, but you have to be able to cs under tower really well, as well as avoid taking as much damage as you can.
  3. this is what I get when playing tryn top (I cs best with him, but I've cs well with others also), and it's just about getting all the cs that comes to your lane and the jungle. I mostly get this when split pushing. close to the most you can get is 300 in 20 minutes so 200 in 22 minutes is much easier.

Watching doesn't do anything really, you just need to practice. You can go into custom games to help practice lasting hitting, I've seen quite a few people recommend it. In all honesty though, the best way to get better is to keep practicing.
