Riot plz: Why can't I gift RP with prepaid cards?

It just doesn't seem fair this holiday season. I have a prepaid card and would like to give it the RP to one of my League friends, but that's not an option for giving RP. If I do not have access to the other methods, I can't give RP period.

Riot, why is this? It seems unfair to those who have to rely on prepaid cards for RP in general. Please reconsider.

Couldn't you just tell them the code for the prepaid card and have them enter it instead of you?

Alternatively, you could use the code yourself and ask them what they want and you could gift them the things they want, such as skins or champions.

Keep in mind that redeeming RP is not working for a lot of people atm including my self...
