Am I a hero, or a villain?

Sometimes when I am in champ select for a ranked game and there is one player who has already given up due to our picks or for whatever reason, I say a lie.

I tell that person that I will bet $5 on paypal that they will feed. They usually jump at the chance to recieve $5 and then play their best instead of giving up because the $5 reward is motivating them more than the potential win.

Am I a hero because I am turning a potential toxic and frustrating game for my team into one where everyone is trying their best? Or am I a villian because I don't actually have any money?

If a small lie makes you a villain I don't think it's possible for anyone to be a hero.

You're neither a hero nor a villain, you're just a lying jerk haha

Heroism and Villainy are extremes, you fall on the petty end of the scale ;)

You're a hero to the rest of the team and to any solo queue team who gets you.

neither imo your lying to the one guy but your using that lie to improve the game for you and those around you
