That said, Poppy update is the full shabang (think sion) and she is gonna rock your socks when it's done.

I REALLY hope they don't mess him up.
I do extremely well with him and if they change him in a drastic way... I have the feeling it will impact my in-game performance with him and that will upset me.
Deep Terror Nami2 votesWe'll be talking about Garen in detail soonish, few initial comments in the meantime though:
- Garen's probably the lowest scope project on that list, with the addition of a new mechanic to his kit and some noticeable power curve tuning as key elements for him. Somewhat larger gameplay changes than MF, significantly smaller than GP.
- Changes to Garen are very much being developed with the item changes in mind.
- Very with you on the value of distinct benefits for bringing a particular champion to a team. We've got something else in mind for Garen though that doesn't overlap with other objective controllers (ult on monsters would give a very Cho/Nunu sort of feel).
That's pretty accurate as to our thinking on silences (can be a good fit on champs where there are things you can do to avoid the silence, generally not appropriate on characters who have the tools to silence you with really high reliability). Garen's keeping his silence as a result, for while it's click to hit it's also a melee ability and he doesn't have a dash/jump/blink.

and hes happy , because hes easy to play , simple kit , that even the order of which you use your skills is Q W E R , for a new LOL player its the perfect champ .
And 100% they going to put some retardnes in his kit that is going to complicate him to a point that he no longer suit a beginner summoner needs .

Duke Anax4 votesThey didn't throw her to the back of the line. It's just that there are several lines and Poppy's is in one of the longest. Also there is a limit to how many people can work on one line at once.
The others Champs just showed up because GP, MF and Fiora are done and those lines are free now.

If you want, Riot can release Poppy as the next update, but that means we won't get anything else in terms of gameplay updates for the next 2-3 years.
Also I don't think Riot would make Garen's kit too much more complex. If anything, they might add something that adds larger gameplay decisions for more experienced players without dramatically altering his accessibility for newer players.

Jungle Lux God1 votesNo, Poppy's kit is not good as it is. It has too little counterplay and is not nearly readable enough to allow her to be good, and she won't be good until her rework happens. Updating her gameplay is the most important part of her update because the rest of her is pretty solid. Her visuals could use some touching up and her lore could use some minor updates, but her kit needs a heavy rework.

Yea it is kind of like wtf...but i think the list is in "order" of when they think things will be done. SO even though Poppy has been on the update longer, the scope of what has to be done will take longer to finish.
Although I am still really upset that Yorick is STILL not on that list. Can not remember when it was posted but a rioter said they were actively working on him. Not expecting him to be completed anytime soon (expectations are 2016) but at least show us who you are actively working on. Can't help thinking this is going to be like the last time he was supposed to be reworked: we were told it would happen then it was dropped and he was forgotten about for about 3 years.

Agreed. Just wish that he was placed on the list so we knew that they were actively working on him like a Rioter mentioned a few weeks ago :/

Garen is also a fun champion, Meddler mentioned they're only doing slight tweaks, partially in conjunction with fighter item updates. I hope they make his W more interesting, everything else is pretty iconic so I don't think they'll touch it too much (it's only an MF level update, and most of the work on MF was visual anyways)

I'm curious how Skarner 3.0 turns out, odd that they are re-reworking him so soon. Maybe there's hope for the Cassiopeia players?
Mordekaiser is honestly one of the few champions I still don't understand (I know his abilities and stuff, just don't understand his gameplay pattern). Want to see what they do with him
Poppy I'm excited for; kind of like Fiora she's one of those champions I always wanted to be good at but their old kits never really meshed with me. New Fiora is a lot of fun, hoping for some good stuff with Poppy as well.
