Never thought i would say this but...

All of you guys that couldn't see it as the healthiest meta we've ever had complained that you didn't do enough damage to people when you didn't itemize properly. Welp, look at all the damage you can do now! At least back then you could actually play the fucking game.

I loved the tank meta. In fact, I think the majority of people loved the tank meta. It was the only meta I have seen where the boards were full of people actually saying how great it was instead of complaining. Sure, some people will complain about any meta, but the "tank meta" was the only meta I have seen where the fans outnumbered the complainers. Nowadays, people seem to think that people have rose-tinted glasses when referring back to the "tank meta". However, the evidence (such as the thread linked above) proves this wrong. People really did enjoy the "tank meta" and it's not simply a "grass is greener on the other side" situation.

Ya this patch is horrible, seriously think this game is getting less and less enjoyable as time goes.

The tank meta was amazing. Sure, Cinderhulk was over tuned for a short while, but then things balanced out. That meta had the largest % of different champs receiving picks or bans in competitive play. That meta would have fit perfectly in with the Rift Herald, and with the weaker towers.

Someone else posted that teamwork became more important when everyone didn't insta-combust, and I couldn't agree more. It meant that decisions needed to be made beyond: "go in, blow up, team cleans up" for tanks, and more than: "tank went in, blew up, I clean up" for LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE.

I've been with league since season one and i have seen every meta except in the beta. I think i can honestly agree with you guys and claim the tank meta as the best meta. However i'm not ready to give up on Riot. Maybe they will begin to buff tanks in response to all this damage. Also i really hope they buff turrets along with the tanks. Right now turrets die to easily and tanks would just make the useless. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
