I just recently hit diamond v and I wonder how good do I need to be in order to have audiences watching me play. I know many streamers are diamond 2 and above and are much better than me. I am thinking maybe I should do lower tier streams and teach my audiences how to hit gold easily. Do you guys think maybe I can succeed doing that?
TeemoJenkins1 votesPersonal opinion: I like RedMercy, because he's skilled, does good tutorials and reviews and isn't a prick doing it. Finding a streamer you enjoy is all about personal preference and tolerance. Find out what you want to represent on your stream and appeal to that demographic... Do you want to be funny? Instructional? Review based? Lane specialization? CS clinics (there aren't enough youtube videos about this)

It's more for entertainment than anything. I don't watch Brickyorchid8 or Sky Williams because they are good, I just find them amusing.

Curious Kat1 votesHonestly skill or being good is just a bonus, you need to be consistent, be entertaining, not be a negative little poop sack, because nobody wants to watch a downer, in fact, look at kiandy, hes a freaking weirdo and it's hilarious lmao.
Just be yourself and do you, views will come with time, you won't achieve it over night, be happy, positive, and up beat, and people will enjoy watching you and want to come back, be patient and have fun with it. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I don't like streamer who are obnoxious and vulgar. For example, I don't watch Sneaky's stream, no matter how good he is at the game. But, his stream is popular. So take that for what it is worth.

Agreed, I really never liked cloud 9. Their players are just not people I enjoy watching.

To me from what I've seen, and heard about youtube, and twitch is it's all about finding your own little niche in the market.
The thing that works for you, and that people enjoy.. You know trick's got his yelling, and his gates, nightblue has his real clean informitive stream, sirchez sings, and has classical music for a chill stream, and even dare I say it... Kaceytron while I personally don't understand the appeal of her stream does have her own way of doing things, that has gotten her viewers, and lots of money. (there's a debate to be had about her, but it's beside the point). Point is find your own way of doing things, and if people like it they like it. But I mean, this is just my opinions and little things Ive heard from streamers, and tubers, so take it as you will.
